The Mandalika, March 12, 2025 - In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H, PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (ITDC) once again embraces the spirit of togetherness by distributing free takjil to the community and tourists in The Mandalika area. This initiative takes place from March 11 to 15, 2025, at several strategic locations, including Kuta Beach Park, Bazaar Mandalika, Merese/Tanjung Aan, and Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
Acting General Manager of The Mandalika, Wahyu M. Nugroho, stated that the takjil distribution is part of the "Berkah Ramadan Seru 2025" program, aimed at strengthening the bond between ITDC and the surrounding community. More than just sharing food, this initiative is expected to create moments of togetherness and foster social awareness during this blessed month. “Ramadan is a time to reinforce unity and spread kindness. By distributing takjil to the community and visitors at The Mandalika, we hope to bring the warmth of Ramadan 1446 H,” said Wahyu.
As the time for iftar approaches, ITDC takes an active role in distributing hundreds of takjil packages at designated locations to the local community, including residents, street vendors, and tourists enjoying the evening in The Mandalika tourism area. In addition to the takjil distribution, ITDC also organizes various social activities as part of the "Berkah Ramadan Seru 2025" program, such as the Mosque Safari, donations for orphans, and the distribution of staple food packages to residents in the seven buffer villages surrounding The Mandalika.
Adding to the Ramadan festivities at The Mandalika, ITDC’s subsidiary, PT Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) Nusantara Jaya, hosted a communal iftar at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit on Friday, March 7. This special event was attended by approximately 120 local residents, who had the unique experience of breaking their fast at one of Indonesia’s prestigious international racing circuits. The event commenced with a circuit tour using Lampaq and a group photo session at Turn-10, further strengthening the sense of unity between the community and the organizers.
Through the "Berkah Ramadan Seru 2025" program, ITDC hopes to make a positive impact and enhance its harmonious relationship with the local community. “With the spirit of sharing and togetherness, ITDC hopes that this program not only brings blessings to the community but also strengthens the bond between ITDC and the local residents. The ‘Berkah Ramadan Seru 2025’ initiative is a tangible expression of ITDC’s commitment to creating a harmonious and meaningful environment during this holy month,” Wahyu concluded.
